Four more networks add listings to Onthehouse to reach unique homeowner audience

by launch-admin Jun 24, 2014 0 Uncategorized

Media Release Australia 24 June 2014: Onthehouse Group today announced that four real estate networks have added their listings to Onthehouse.com.au. They join a rapidly growing number of agencies already using this site to reach a unique vendor audience researching properties across Australia. Stockdale & Leggo, Laing + Simmons and Starr Partners have all added their listings to the broad coverage of properties listed on Onthehouse.com.au, with the Raine & Horne network also coming on line in the coming weeks. Douglas Driscoll, CEO of Starr Partners, recently recognised as Australia¹s most innovative real estate brand said, ³For us, publishing our listings and sales results on the site is all about promoting ourselves to potential vendors and investors who use Onthehouse.com.au to do their property research.² Onthehouse CEO, Michael Fredericks, said: ³Unlike the traditional classified listings portals like REA and Domain, Onthehouse.com.au is about providing consumers with data. This environment therefore offers agents a tool to prospect for vendors and promote their success in their local area. In fact, in any one month, our recent Nielsen research has shown that only 20% of our audience visit our competitor¹s listings sites.² Peter Thomas, CEO of Stockdale & Leggo, commented: ³We are listing on Onthehouse.com.au to demonstrate the depth of our success to potential vendors as early in their research phase as possible, before they start actively researching other agents.² Onthehouse.com.au is the only website in Australia that provides free property data on over 98% of Australia properties and generates a unique audience of around 1.4 million unique visitors every month. By amalgamating feeds from multiple sources, Onthehouse.com.au provides consumers with in-depth Property Profiles containing data such as listing, sales and rental histories. In the last year alone, consumers have downloaded over 36 million property reports from Onthehouse.com.au, with property searches on the site increasing by over 80% in the last six months. Mr Fredericks, added: ³Onthehouse.com.au empowers the consumer to have more meaningful conversations with their local property experts the real estate agents in their suburb. The free data we provide fulfils the consumers thirst for information, whilst creating questions that only local agents can answer. Indeed, we even provide our Console software clients with additional content to help them engage consumers. ³The appeal of publishing listings on Onthehouse.com.au is that agents can create an ecosystem that reaches homeowners before they are actively buying or renting a property. Smart agencies are waking up to this fact, and we are delighted to be partnering with four more of Australia¹s top networks.² Listings on Onthehouse.com.au continue to be completely free of charge. -ENDS- Media contacts Ashford Pritchard: E ashford@launchgroup.com.au ashford@launchgroup.com.au> / T 02 9492 1040 / M 0411 020 680 Laura Douglas: E laura@launchgroup.com laura@launchgroup.com> / T 02 9492 1000 / M 0452 505 859 About Onthousehouse.com.au www.onthehouse.com.au is Australia¹s most transparent and comprehensive real estate portal, empowering consumers to make informed property decisions by providing them with free access to information. MEDIA RELEASE ScreenLaunch expands services to include Oz theatrical distribution 2nd June 2014: Independent Australian film sales agency, ScreenLaunch, has expanded into Australian theatrical distribution, offering two female focused films to Australian cinemas in the coming year: haunting mystery TOUCH premiering this Friday at the Sydney Film Festival and a fresh, urban drama Skin Deep. CEO of ScreenLaunch Ross Howden said the company has been focused on international sales and innovative online distribution, now expanding into local theatrical distribution to meet the growing demand from local content producers. ³More Australian filmmakers are asking us to distribute locally to meet a gap in the market for quality Australian independent film,² he said. ³Traditionally, it¹s difficult to get screen time in the cinemas for independents. However we are making this commitment because we believe with a steady supply of good Australian films, the audiences will drive more screens. TOUCH and Skin Deep contribute strong female stories and leads but both have central themes that relate to a wide range of people. ³At the 2014 Oscars, Cate Blanchett highlighted that films about women are becoming powerful and finding audiences saying ŒFemale-focused films are not niche. And they make money!¹ Here are just two examples of locally produced cinematic content meeting the growing appetite for powerful female leads. We are proud to bring these films to Australian audiences.² TOUCH is a mystery following the intriguing journey of Dawn (Leeanna Walsman) and her daughter Steph (Onor Nottle), who are stalked by a mysterious man, John (Matt Day) across the Adelaide Hills. The film is set for world premiere at Sydney Film Festival on the 6th June 2014 and is generating interest with both local and international audiences. The director, AFTRS alumni Christopher Houghton will also talk about the film at Friday on My Mind at AFTRS this week. TOUCH producer, Julie Byrne from Triptych Pictures, said: ³TOUCH has been a very collaborative effort and we were excited to find ScreenLaunch, who wanted to nurture the film along with us, as well as focus on generating strong returns.² Skin Deep was shot on location in Sydney in 2013 and garnered significant market interest at last years American Film Market (AFM). Skin Deep producer Rosie Lourde said: ³Skin Deep is an engaging and topical examination of a young woman diagnosed with terminal melanoma who discovers the courage to embrace life. We are humbled by how touched the test audiences have been so we¹re excited to be working with ScreenLaunch to bring this beautiful journey to Australian cinemas.² Howden added: ³We will be continuing to bring these films to audiences through innovative ways in Australia and across the world. With cinema still being such an important part of the movie experience here in Australia we are proud to be giving a voice to these strong stories on the big screen.² Both films are expected to be released in Australian cinemas in early 2015. -ENDS- About Screenlaunch focuses on innovative digital forms of sales, distribution and production.
