Brisbane, 12 March 2015 – Australia’s first, free coffee ordering and payment app TXT4Coffee has today announced the signup of their 850th coffee store nationwide, alongside ambitious plans to launch into the US, UK and EU markets by June of this year.
Conceived by coffee enthusiast Daniel Filmer while standing in line for his usual morning coffee, TXT4Coffee clears up the dreaded queues faced by coffee store owners on a daily basis, while creating a seamless experience for the avid coffee drinker. TXT4Coffee allows customers to “jump the queue” by ordering and paying for their morning brew using their iPhone, iPad or Android device.
Independent boutique café, Haven Espresso, is the 850th customer to jump on board the TXT4Coffee revolution, joining a list of well-recognised chains that already employ the app, such as Gloria Jeans, Coffee Club and Donut King.
CEO and Co-Founder of TXT4Coffee, Daniel Filmer, said: “TXT4Coffee’s draw card is that it is free of charge not only for coffeeshops that sign-up but for end-user customers who download and/or subscribe to use it.”
Backed by Steve Baxter, startup investor and Shark on TEN’s Shark Tank Australia, TXT4Coffee has seen notable growth since its inception, having already signed up a number of international stores in the lead up to its official launch into these markets later in the year.
Mr Baxter commented: “TXT4Coffee has a an extremely smart and unique business model. It’s free for all parties involved because of its contextual based advertising, which makes it the most feature rich coffee ordering and payment platform in the market. Essentially, I’ve invested in an app that is free, unique, and dynamic and has huge growth potential both here and internationally.”
Mr Filmer added: “Everyone benefits from using TXT4Coffee. Coffee stores are saving on average 50 minutes per day and not only is it free for end-user customer but they are also rewarded for using the platform through the loyalty rewards system and special discount offers.”
The TXT4Coffee app is available from the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Android users. For all other devices, an account can be set up through the TXT4Coffee online portal for use online or through SMS.
