Sydney, Australia, 15 August 2019 – Australia’s ‘better for you’ lifestyle beverage brand H2coco is proud to announce the appointment of legendary lifeguard and Bondi Rescue star Anthony ‘Bondi Harries’ Carroll as the brand’s newest ambassador. The partnership will see Harries promote the importance of living a happy, healthy and balanced lifestyle and support H2coco’s campaign around environmental sustainability.

“I’m stoked to be joining the H2coco family. As someone who has a passion for healthy living and the environment, I want to inspire people to choose options that are better for you and better for all and consider ways to help contribute to a healthier planet. H2coco is the perfect extension of this and a brand that I am proud to be supporting. We both believe in health and wellbeing, including the mind and body, as well as our precious environment… plus they are Bondi Beach-born!”

For H2coco, Harries is ‘the real choice’ and a natural fit as he represents all that the H2coco brand stands for. As one of Australia’s top surf life savers and a well-loved character on television hit show Bondi Rescue, Harries is a genuine, relatable and influential voice in the minds of Australian consumers. H2coco and Harries have a great opportunity to build awareness around better for you lifestyle options and extend on the brand’s commitment to sustainability.

David Freeman, founder and CEO of H2coco, said, “In addition to providing better for you beverage alternatives, H2coco is committed to sustainability and is on a mission to be better for the environment. We are thrilled to welcome Harries onboard and into the H2coco family. Harries fits perfectly within our vision and culture and is as passionate as we are about inspiring Australians to be eco-friendly and live a happy, healthy and balanced lifestyle.”

In his capacity as H2coco’s ambassador, Harries will communicate and engage audiences with messages around wellbeing through living a healthy lifestyle and staying active, taking time out with family, the great outdoors and caring for the environment. Harries will be involved in content creation for social media, digital and direct marketing, as well as participate in H2coco-related public relations activities and events.

Driven by the vision that has remained the same 10 years on – ‘a healthy fridge and pantry in every household’, H2coco is on a mission to be able to serve consumers Australia-wide and globally with a premium range of ‘better for you’ beverages ‘to empower people’s lives towards making every day healthier’ as well as be better for the environment. H2coco is proud to be bringing the Bondi Beach-born company and products to the world stage with the support of Harries.
